Activists of World Council of Churches (WCC) have condemned terror attacks in Al Noor mosque in New Zealand.
Members of WCC shared condolences to all Muslims and to New Zealand.
Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit, general secretary of the WCC, stated: “This terrible crime against women, men and children at the time of their prayers is an attack on all believers and an assault on the bonds of shared humanity and peaceful coexistence which unite us all.”
A total of 49 Muslims were killed and over 20 wounded in mosques in New Zealand on March 15, 2019.
