Twenty mercenaries in the pay of the Saudi coalition were killed or wounded on Tuesday, May 7, during clashes with Yemeni army forces and Ansarallah fighters, in al-Jawf province, in northern Yemen.
A Yemeni military source said Ansarallah fighters targeted a pro-Saudi mercenary position on Tuesday in al-Masloub district of al-Jawf province. In addition, a number of mercenaries were killed by a roadside bomb blast in al-Khab and al-Shaaf, al-Jawf district.
In Jizan, southern Saudi Arabia, a group of Saudi army soldiers was targeted by the Yemeni fighters’ unit of drones and artillery.
The attack caused extensive material damage and loss of life in the ranks of the Saudis.
On the other hand, Saudi Arabian warplanes bombed Kitaf, in Sa’ada province, four times.
