- British activists have launched a music festival in solidarity with Palestine to oppose the Eurovision singing competition in Israel.
Members of Palestine Solidarity campaign have held music and singing festival in London in protest to Israel Eurovision event.
The festival was launched with the motto “Celebrate for Palestine, not Eurovision” in the presence of hundreds of British activists including Celebrities.
‘Locki’ and Mike Wright were two British rappers who emphasized on solidarity with the Palestinian nation by taking part at the campaign.
Locki said that the campaign showed people that Eurovision in Israel means dancing on the bodies of Palestinians.
Huda Ammari a Palestine Solidarity Campaign member told the media that Eurovision has turned into the display of Israel failure, because they expected over 50 thousand tourists for the event, but only 4-5 thousand have visited Eurovision.
