- British activists have hold a vigil protesting to the United Arab Emirates’s crimes against political and human rights detainees in London.
"The International organization for freedom in the UAE" launched the "Break the silence" campaign in the commemoration of the memory of "Alia Abdelnour", who was a political activist died in the UAE prisons while they hold a vigil in London.
The participants in this vigil demanded for the release of all political and human rights prisoners and the granting of public freedoms to the UAE people by chanting slogans.
They informed people about Alia Abdelnour’s death by distributing flowers and brochures.
Joe Adel, who was the coordinator of this campaign, said that we gathered here asking the authorities of the United Arab Emirates to stop the cruel behavior toward the prisoners, especially the torture of women who are in the prison.
